Our Unique Approach

With so many home inspectors to choose from, how do you decide

which one is right for you?

Our Policy

  • Fair and honest pricing - we have always believed you get what you pay for.  A home purchase, for most people, represents the largest single investment they may ever make.  You should want a home inspector that is dedicated to you, the buyer.  Someone that will provide you with a solid, detailed inspection, with straight-forward information.  We may not be your least expensive alternative, but we will give you value for your money via personalized service and our attention to detail.

  • Ethical practices - we are not going to try and sell you additional services.   We believe experts in their specific field are best suited to perform specialized inspections rather than someone that does it occasionally as an added service.   If a home requires a specialized inspection service, we will refer you to experts in that related field.  PLEASE NOTE: Even though DSP offers remodeling services,  we will never attempt to sell you repair services for any home we perform an inspection on.

  • One job at a time work ethic – we do one job until it is completed to the customer's satisfaction

  • Detailed reports with pictures – usually emailed within 24 hours

  • Personalized experience - from start to finish, working with hours to suit your needs, including weekends

  • 30 + years of experience -  Inspections, Home Renovations, Upgrades, Maintenance & Repairs

Ask yourself, how much is peace of mind worth to you?  Is saving $50 or $100 dollars on your home inspection really where you want to cut costs on your $$$$$$$$$$$ + investment?

Here at DSP we work from the principle that "Trust is earned, not given away."  As you are comparing home inspectors there are some basic facts to remember that all inspectors in the state of Texas must adhere to:
1.  All Home Inspectors in the state of Texas are regulated by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) policies,
guidelines, standards and rules governing inspectors and their inspections.
2.  All Home Inspectors in Texas are required to be licensed by TREC.
3.  All Home Inspectors in Texas are required to use the same TREC Inspection Report Form.
4.  All Home Inspectors in Texas are required to complete TREC approved training.
5.  All Home Inspectors in Texas are required to pass Texas and National examinations.
6.  All Home Inspectors in Texas are required to be Insured.
7.  All Home Inspectors in Texas are required to complete yearly continuing education requirements.
